Skills Question
Hi, im relatively new to the game but i have been reading forums here and the wiki site to get ideas for what character/builds i want to make. I just have one question regaurding this...I was reading on the wiki for example "Assassins" have skills that can be obtained in Nightfall but you cant play an assassin in that chapter? So how can you obtain the skills for a class in a chapter that you cant make that type of character in?
Not a big forum poster so sorry if its messy post but anybody that can shine some light onto this would be greatly appreciated. |

You have to make that character in factions or prophecies, then buy nightfall and play the character through on that campaign to get the skills from it

You can travel in between games once you get to certain cities, but you have to first unlock that city with the home-grown character.
So if you have proph and factions, to get to kaineng centre, you first have to have a factions-made character get there. |

you can create a character in factions (i.e. assasin) and have then go to either of the other campaigns immediately after the starter island. It might even be possible before that, but you'll have to double check that with someone. You can then play through NF on your low lvl character, you just won't be able to access all the starter quests and missions.
Going to both prophecies and factions I would recommend your character be at least level 15 though, to make sure parties will take them, and that you don't die every time you try and do a quest. Taking a character to Factions however I'd recommend being as close to 20 as possible, as starter characters from Factions level incredibly fast, and basically mobs are lvl 20 as soon as you get to the mainland. I hope that helps a little bit. |

Note also that the skill pool is added to in successive games.
The six core classes have skills in Prophesies Factions and Nightfall. Ritualists and Assassins have Skills in Factions and nightfall. Paragons and Dervishes have their Nightfall skills. |
